Announcing Fall Monthly Watercolor Classes
Contemplative Watercolor: The Creative Vessel

I hope you've had a good summer full of a change of pace, rest, or
adventure. We've enjoyed graduations, family time, summer camps, and
getting ready to send the first kid off to college!
In my quiet reflection between all the activity this summer I
experienced a renewed clarity about the kind of watercolor class
experience I'd like to share with you as we grow together on our
creative journeys.
I'm excited to announce this fall's monthly class series:
Contemplative Watercolor: The Creative Vessel
It's a new series of stand-alone, monthly watercolor class experiences
in which we will relax, enjoy, and let creativity flow!

If you have a desire for more creativity, more beauty, more play, more
calm, and more spaciousness in your life then I hope you will join me!
Thinking of yourself as "crafty" or "creative" or "artistic" is not a
prerequisite. Rather come with an open heart, desire to try something
new, and willingness to make mistakes as you learn.
What is Contemplative Watercolor: The Creative Vessel?
-A peaceful and fun place to Relax, Enjoy, and Let Creativity Flow
-Relaxed, primarily abstracted watercolor studies to understand how
paint, water, and paper work together to create desired effects
-A class where everyone's paintings can and should look different from
one another's, and you may or may not leave with a "finished" piece.
-A class where while we "play," I discuss what we are doing in terms of
the elements and principles of design, and direct you to past and
present master artists you could additionally learn from as you find
specific styles you may want to individually develop further on your
personal art journey
-A class where I share how I approach the creative process, manage
challenges, and invite you to follow your own unique creative unfolding
-A place for beginner and intermediate artists alike who seek go deeper
in their creative journey alongside other artists
-Stand-alone classes so that you can just sign up for the ones that fit
your schedule
If any of that feels like a quiet, "yes - this" to you, I hope you will
join me this fall for one or more classes in this series.

One last fun thing to share before I go. This summer I was honored to
have paintings published in three different art magazines. Two of these
magazines can currently be found at some local bookstores, or you can
click the magazine cover images below to see the digital editions! I'm
pinching myself. What started out for me as "just playing" with
watercolor to relax and have fun eventually grew into all of this! You
just never know what a quiet "yes" will eventually grow into!
